Streets of Malaysia #1
There are many streets in Malaysia. Among all the states I know Kuala Lumpur (KL) the most as I live in Kuala Lumpur. Kuala Lumpur is also known as the famous place in Malaysia and a very great place that it actually attracted lots of tourist to visit our country.
The most famous street in Kuala Lumpur is Petaling Street. Petaling Street is also known as China Town in Kuala Lumpur. Petaling Street is always so crowded. Many locals and tourists love to shop around Petaling Street as it is located at the center of the town. There are many stalls in Petaling Street, as an example there are stalls which sells food, clothing, DVDs, handbags and many others.
For your information, Petaling Street sells lots of delicious food. Tourists can find a variety of local food in Petaling Street as well. Petaling Street is famous with their curry laksa, asam laksa and porridge. Those who fancy sweet food, there is also a stalk which sells all kind of sweet soup. The prices there are reasonable too! We can actually bargain too if we think that the price are too pricey.
Due to the hot weather in Malaysia, shopping in Petaling Street during hot weathers can really make us go crazy. In a way, it still attracts tourist to drop by and have a look! Petaling Street is always so pack with tourists, even those sellers aren’t local. Most of them are foreigners but they work for the locals if I’m not mistaken.
Petaling Street is always so crowded; therefore it’s easy for pick pockets to start their activity. Therefore, we must be more alert while carrying valuable items. The environment of Petaling Street is sort of dirty. Luckily, the town council does send cleaners to keep the town clean or else it will end up becoming a dirty street.
Thus, tourist should really go down town to Petaling Street to have a look, as it is worth seeing the culture of Malaysians!

Week 5 #2
Chinese New Year is coming to an end. Time passes so fast, in a blink of an eye it’s already Chap Goh Mei. Chap Goh Mei is the last day of Chinese New Year. Chinese New Year is over and here come midterms.
One week later, I will be sitting for my midterms exam. Due to this is first time in my life sitting exams in college, whenever I think of exams my heartbeat actually increases. It sounded so dramatic. I’m pretty worry about my results because I don’t want to re-sit for the exams for any subject. I can’t afford to do so.
Anyway, last Friday was a public holiday. Therefore, I and my high school mates hanged out together. We went Puchong for breakfast. The food court there was pretty crowded and there’s a variety of food for us to choose. I had an egg tart only because I got no appetite to eat. After breakfast, we dropped by to our teacher’s crib to visit her. Her house was so big until all of us got stunted after seeing her house. She even rears a little parrot as her pet, name Willy. Willy has the ability to speaks.
After visiting our teacher, we went Sunway Pyramid for movie. We watched “Percy Jackson the Lightning Thief”. This movie wasn’t really bored, so I rate it 8.5 out of 10. At first I thought it was quite bored, but when those horrible faces peoples came out, I got shocked. Those peoples, I mean those bad characters, looked ugly and scary. Especially the one with the snake hair. I know that’s gross.
After movie, one of my friends took us to a café with waterfall. The environment there was awesome and cooling too. Snapped some photos there with the bunch and chilled there as well. It’s fun to hang out with them and I can’t wait for the next outing.

Week 5 #1
Chinese New Year holidays are over, and here come classes. Nothing happened during the festival break. I was actually quite bored and busy during the Chinese New Year due to those assignments. What a hectic holiday! Eventually, I’m proud of myself because I managed to finish those assignments on time.
College reopened yesterday. It is really great to meet my friends again after a week of holidays. Class yesterday was a little bored for me; I think I was still in a holiday mood, that’s why I couldn’t pay attention in class yesterday. Anyway, midterms are just around the corner. I’m so worry about midterms these few days as time passes fast. I shall pull up my socks and start mugging for my midterms. Not afraid to say that, among all the subjects, I worry the most is Fundamental of Management. It’s definitely a tough subject. Not to say, it’s bored but I just don’t seem to have any interest in management. So spare me.
Yesterday, I logged in to the student portals and I saw there’s an update for the creative writing subject, I quickly clicked on it to take a look on those updates. There’s a project going on for us to complete. Once I clicked on the link given, those assessment criteria appeared. I shocked after reading those requirements for the assessment. I think it will be fun working around with friends, not to forget discussing too. Well, I hope the process of the project will goes smoothly without any distractions.
I think my group will be working out the project after midterms. There are many presentation going on recently, example College Study Skills, Information Technology and Creative Writing. Therefore, I assume that after midterms I will still be very busy due to those projects. I’m looking forward to it anyway, especially the video project!

I call it a FESTIVAL!
There are all kinds of festivals in Malaysia from different types of races. What is a festival? Festival is known as a period for certain religions to celebrate an event or ceremonies. Let’s talk about the Chinese culture. The Chinese celebrates Chinese New Year, as it is the biggest festivals for the Chinese every year.
During Chinese New Year, the town will be very quiet due to everyone go back to their hometown to celebrate the festival. I myself got no hometown because my grandparents live in the city, therefore I’d never experience before celebrating a festival in those village area. Well, celebrating festivals in a city or in a village isn’t an issue though. The most important part is everyone of the family are together during the festival. Everyone is full of excitement, joy and fun.
Chinese New Year of this year is really a fun festival to me and my family. Relatives came over to my crib to celebrate the festival. Chao happens. It was really fun and warm when relatives gather together, chilling, talking and laughing together. Chinese New Year is always a best festival for Chinese, especially the kids. Kids do enjoy Chinese New Year much because they will receive red packets containing money from their parents and relatives. Reunion dinner is also very important to a Chinese family. A reunion dinner brings the meaning of every single individual of the family gather together to have a family dinner. The Chinese is always concern about the reunion dinner especially those elderly.
Normally before the festival, everyone will be busy decorating and cleaning their house with all sorts of decoration. Some will paste those Chinese scroll with words. Those women will be busy buying varieties of cookies, not to forget mandarin oranges, to celebrate the festival. Kids enjoy playing fire works before and also during the festival period.
This year’s Chinese New Year, I really did enjoy. Went over to relatives house to visit them, getting red packets from my aunties and uncles. The best part of visiting others’ house is we can try all sorts of cookies.
Lastly, celebrating festivals with family members is always a fun thing to do. We should appreciate those times being together with our family members as we know time pass in a blink of an eye. How many years can we be with our family members if we don’t appreciate it?

Animal Rights 2
Humans have rights, so do animals. What is an animal right? Animal Rights is a movement that intends to protect all animals from being exploited and abused by humans. (Diana Bocco, 2009). Animals are always used for experiment, example scientist try new medicines on animals to see the effects of the medicine, cosmetic company used animals to try their new products before selling it. Why cant humans stop abusing them?
Animals are known to be one of our food sources. We eat animals’ meat as for our daily meals, to maintain our health status. But, before we eat, do we think about how sad is it to know that the meats we are consuming are actually animals. We slaughter animals just to get their flesh. Isn’t that a sad thing? We should pity those animals! Based on this issue, many organizations and committee from all kind of places encourage us to be a vegetarian. Being a vegetarian can maintain the habitats of the animals, so that the numbers of animals being abuse and slaughter can reduce.
Many of us have pets at home. Pets keep us accompany sometimes, but sometimes they might be the ones who make us angry. Although they make their owners angry, owners should not abuse them. Through the press, sometimes we are informed by the newspapers about news abusing pets at home. Humans have sense, animals do too. If incident like this happens around us, we should report to SPCA because animals don’t deserve to be abuse by us. SPCA is responsible to keep the policy of animals to assure that they’re not being abuse and are living under a good environment.
Thus, animals should be protected by us so that they will not be harm by other individuals. They deserve to be treated nicely. This is government set up public organizations to assure animals are treated nicely from the society. We should also build up human morality in our daily life so that we are able to protect animals from being abuse. Furthermore, we should also understand and bear in mind the rights of animals as they’re important because they also have the role to keep the balance of nature stable.

Animal Rights 1
Cruelties to animals are getting serious day by day recently. Many of us don't take it serious about this issue. Animals are one of the God's creation, and definitely they do have their own rights as human beings do. Therefore, animals deserve to be treating in a decent way without any cruelties. Nowadays, the society is getting harsh towards animals. As example, scientist tries on new products on animals to assure there is no any side effects after being used or consumed by human beings. This is really a serious issue as it will actually reduce the habitats of the animal species. Scientist should discover a better way to test their new products instead of trying it on those innocent animals.
Moreover, human beings are mostly meat eaters. Animals are always the food for human beings. Chicken, cow, goat and fish are often cooked by human beings to be their meal. No doubt, it taste delicious but why not think about those animal's rights? It is actually very cruel to kill an animal just because we human beings want to fill our stomach with their meats. Sacrificing animals is actually very cruel, but nowadays to us it's a very common thing. In Malaysia, eating wild animals is illegal but overseas it's not against the law. Through television, we can see that some of them even slaughter monkeys just to get their brain as their meal. Isn't it cruel and do monkeys deserve to be threatened that way? I should be glad in Malaysia eating wild animals is illegal and those who did it should be arrest.
On the other hand, animals are also used to make accessories. I am pretty sure many of us are leather lovers. But do you know, in order to make a leather handbag, a cow will be sacrifice just to get their skin to make into a nice and expensive handbag. Except cows, many kinds of animals are also sacrifice to make into other things. Example, the tiger's skin is commonly used to make into furniture cover sheets, some other animals are used to produce into herbs. It's pretty upset to sacrifice ones life although they're animals. But animals do have their rights!
Thus, we should stop hunting animals. We should let those animals live the way they're supposed to be, so that our next generation can enjoy seeing those animals habitats and avoid those animals habitat to face extinction.
